How many certified copies do you need?
We mail one physical certified copy with every ceremony. If either of you will be changing your name, you may want an additional certified copy or two — agencies like Social Security and the passport office each hold onto one for a while, and having a spare can save some back-and-forth. If neither of you is changing a name, the one we mail is usually all you need. Extra certified copies are about $10 each from the Utah County Clerk’s office.
